Ecuador football team lead by coach Gustavo Quinteros traveled to USA for Copa America Centenario to be held 3rd June to 26 June. Ecuador will play their first match 5 time world champion Brazil, and they have also face Haiti and panama in group stage of the tournament. Copa America Centenario is the tournament of celebration of 100th anniversary of Copa America football tournament. Copa America is one of the oldest tournament of FIFA which make its debut in 1916 and now in 2016 the tournament complete 100 year of Copa America. Last time Copa America held in 2015 and this is the special edition of Copa America where 16 team participating 10 team from South America and 6 team from North America. USA going to host this prestigious tournament all the ten venue are ready to kick off.

Ecuador might have not many success in international football but it doesn’t tails whole scenario of  Ecuador football, the team currently having a FIFA rank of 13 and an ELO rank of 17 and the team consistently qualify for various tournament of FIFA. Ecuador qualified world cup two time in 2002 and 2006 and their best result is qualifying for round of 16. Unfortunately, Ecuador is one of the three countries who never won the tittle of Copa America so far. But there’s hope for Ecuador fans.
