Panama team squad for CA 2016

Panama won the playoff match against Cuba and qualified for Copa America Centenario 2016, two teams played playoff matches (Haiti against Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba against Panama) on 8 January 2016 at Estadio Rommel Fernandez stadium, where Panama defeated Cuba by 4-0 and Haiti defeated Trinidad and Tobago 1-0. By wining playoff this two team complete 16 team of the tournament.

Copa America Centenario is ready to kick-off from from 3 June 2016, tournament duration is from 3 June to 26 June. Governing committee of Copa America Centenario already confirm CONMEBOL and CONCACAF 16 teams of the tournament were 10 team form  CONMEBOL and 6 team from CONCACAF participating on this tournament. USA and Mexico automatically qualified, Jamaica and Costa Rica qualifyed as a champions of  Caribbean Football Union and Central American Football Union. Haiti and Panama play-off winner among highest four finisher of  CONCACAF Gold Cup 2015.

Panama 60 rank team in FIFA World ranking, they started to play international football from 1983 and science then they played 481 international match where they won 151 match draw 113 match and lost 217 match. Panama played their first match against Mexico in 1937 that match was drawn by 2-2, panama 8 time participate on  CONCACAF Gold and became runner up in 2005 and 2013. Panama did not qualified for World Cup in their football history but this time they qualified for historic event of football Copa America 2016 and this is a great chance for panama prove them self against south America football.
